Muse Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using Muse (“the App”) or our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Muse.
2. The Service
Muse provides a perfume library and companion experience, including:
- Editorial feed and catalog explore
- Wardrobe, bookmarks, and collections
- AI Concierge and related recommendation features
- Visual bottle search
- Profile, scent-of-the-day, and optional social features
- Premium subscriptions (where offered)
Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your sign-in credentials secure
- Activity under your account
- Accurate profile information you choose to display
You must be old enough to use the service and accept these Terms in your jurisdiction.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, scrape, or overload our systems
- Reverse engineer or circumvent security or paywalls
- Harass other users or upload unlawful content
- Misrepresent your identity or manipulate social features
- Use automated bots without permission
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
5. Catalog & Content
Perfume descriptions, notes, and imagery are for informational and personal use. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners. Muse is not affiliated with every house listed unless explicitly stated.
User-generated profile content must comply with applicable law and community standards.
6. AI Features
Concierge, visual search, and related tools may produce imperfect suggestions. They are not professional advice (medical, financial, or otherwise). You remain responsible for purchases and wearing choices.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
Premium features may require a subscription billed through Apple or Google. Renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow the store’s policies. Entitlements may be verified server-side.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, design, and original Muse content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Muse. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or a nominal amount if you paid nothing).
11. Termination
You may stop using Muse at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms or legal requirements.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Muse, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply where they cannot be waived.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
